Pesto Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cuptoasted pine nuts (I usually use walnuts)
- 2 tablespoonsfresh lemon juice
- 1small garlic clove
- 1/4 teaspoonsea salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cupsbasil leaves
- 1/4 cupextra-virgin olive oil, plus more for a smoother pesto
- 1/4 cupfreshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Toast the nuts a little bit. And then pulse them in the food processor

Add all the ingredients (except the olive oil and parmesean cheese). Pulse a few times till its all mixed up

With the food processor running, add the olive oil in a stream till its combined.

Now add in the parmesean cheese and pulse till its all mixed up. Taste and adjust the seasoning accordingly
