
Black Sesame Ladoo
A healthy ladoo made with black sesame seeds, nuts and dates. No added processed sugars or flours. And just one tastes so good!! Who knew indulgence could be good for you!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cupblack sesame seeds
- 1/4 cupalmonds (or a mix of any nuts. I typically use almonds, cashes, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)
- 3dates pitted (mejdool)
- 1 tspcardamom powder
- 1 tbspGhee
Instructions

Dry roast the sesame seeds - In a pan on low heat, dry roast the sesame seeds till they pop or around 5 minutes. Keep aside to cool. And then grind to a powder. Take care to not overgrind else it will become a paste as the oil will release

Dry roast the nuts - Dry roast the nuts on low flame. Grind to a coarse powder when cooled

Pulse the pitted dates separately and keep it

Now in a pan, add 1 tbsp of ghee, and add all the ingredients. With a spatula gently press the ingredients together so some of the oil from the sesame gets released. Once its all incorporated, taste and adjust to your liking.

Take it out in a plate, and when its slightly warm but can be handled, with your hands shape into ladoos pressing together.
